    • 1). Loosen and remove the two 12-mm bolts securing the caliper on the rear wheel to the left side of the Gold Wing.

    • 2). Cover the caliper in a shop rag. Pull off the caliper. Remove the rag. Covering the caliper in a rag ensures it does not scratch the hub when you pull it off of the rotor.

    • 3). Remove the small 5-mm pin securing the brake pads in place. The brake pads should fall out of the caliper when the pin is removed.

    • 4). Set the inner brake pad into the caliper. Drive the inner brake pad flush to the inner wall of the caliper with a caliper clamp. This reseats the pistons so that the caliper can fit over the rotor. Seat the outer brake pad in the caliper.

    • 5). Set the caliper back over the rotor. Replace the two removed bolts.

    • 6). Repeat Steps 1 through 5 for the front wheel.
