Are We There Yet? features newlyweds Nick and Suzanne, who are raising Suzanne’s teenage kids while adjusting to life as a married couple. Ex-athlete Nick is transitioning to office work after selling his sports-memorabilia store, and Suzanne is hoping her kids will bond with their new stepdad.

Are We There Yet?

started life as a 2005 movie starring Ice Cube as a man trying to impress his girlfriend by taking her kids on a road trip. It then spawned a 2007 sequel, Are We Done Yet?, with Cube’s Nick now married to his girlfriend and working on a dilapidated house. In 2009, TBS signed a deal for an Are We There Yet? TV series, produced by Cube and starring Terry Crews as Nick. With Cube on board in a recurring supporting role, the show premiered in June 2010. Ten episodes were ordered initially, followed by 90 more in August 2010.
