How to Program the Key Fob on a 2006 Dodge Ram
- 1). Sit in the truck with all of the doors closed completely.
- 2). Insert the key into the truck's ignition and turn it to the "On" position.
- 3). Press and hold the "Unlock" button on the original key fob for anywhere between four and 10 seconds. While you are holding the "Unlock" button for the prescribed amount of time, press and release the "Panic" button on the original key fob.
- 4). Release the "Unlock" button. The vehicle will chime, indicating it is programming mode.
- 5). Press and release the "Lock" or "Unlock" button on the key fob you wish to program. The vehicle will chime to indicate the key fob has been successfully programmed.
