How to Program the Remote to a 2006 Chrysler Sebring
- 1). Press the lock button on the working remote five times, waiting two seconds between each press.
- 2). Put the key into the vehicle ignition and turn it to the run position (do not start the engine). Give the vehicle time for the ignition chimes to stop sounding.
- 3). Hold down the unlock button on the working remote from four to 10 seconds. During this time press down the panic button for one second and then release both buttons.
- 4). Listen for a change in the vehicle chime, which signifies that it has entered the programming mode.
- 5). Press both the lock and unlock button on the new remote at the same time within 30 seconds of the chimes sounding. Release both buttons and press just the unlock button on the same remote. Listen for a chime to confirm that the remote was properly programmed. Repeat this step with any other remotes that need programming.
- 6). Turn the key to the off position and remove it from the ignition. Exit the vehicle and test the remotes.
