How to Remove Stickiness From Wood
- 1). Wipe up as much of the sticky substance as possible with a dry cleaning cloth.
- 2). Dampen a sponge with warm water. Squeeze the sponge to remove excess water.
- 3). Scrub the sticky surface with the damp sponge in the direction of wood grain. Cleaning in the direction of the wood grain prevents accidental scratches while scrubbing.
- 4). Wipe down the wood with a dry cloth to remove moisture from the surface.
- 5). Spray the wood floor cleaning spray directly onto a clean, dry cloth. Rub the cloth onto the wood surface in the direction of the wood's grain to polish to wood and restore its natural shine.
