How to Set Codes for a Mitsubishi Spyder Radio
- 1). Find the four-digit radio code that was assigned to your Mitsubishi Spyder. You need the code to set your radio. The code can be found on the small "Anti-Theft System" information card included with your vehicle documents.
- 2). Insert your key into the Spyder's ignition cylinder and turn it to the "On" or "Acc" position without cranking the engine. The digital display on the audio systems panel displays the "Code" error message.
- 3). Use the radio Preset Buttons 1 through 4 to input the radio code: "Preset 1" corresponds to the first number of the code, "Preset 2" corresponds to the second number of the code, "Preset 3" corresponds to the third number and so on. Press "Preset 1" repeatedly until the number shown on the digital display matches the first number of the radio code. Press "Preset 2" repeatedly until the second number on the digital display matches the second number of the code. Use the same process to enter the remaining two numbers of the code.
- 4). Turn the key back to the "Off" position.
