American Standard

• American Standard Brands was formed in 2008 after the merger of three companies: Crane Plumbing, Eljer and American Standard Americas. American Standard has been manufacturing products since 1875. They offer a number of styles of tub and shower surrounds, all of which are part of the AcryLUX Collection. These tub surrounds are made of acrylic and fiberglass that has a smooth, easy-to-clean, scratch-resistant surface and come in three basic colors: white, bone and linen.
  
  

Aqua Glass

• Aqua Glass was founded in 1969 and offers a number of bathroom products, including tub surrounds. The company current offers four styles of tub walls: Venture, Vero, Aspect and Avondale. A fifth style, Proclaim, is expected to be marketed soon. All Aqua Glass tub surrounds have the same basic size specifications: 32 inches long by 60 inches wide by 58 inches high. The Vero and Venture models come with seven different ridged shelves (slightly smaller with the Vero model) for soap and other products. The Aspect model has four ridged shelves and the Avondale model comes with six shelves. The basic style is the same for all Aqua Glass models.
  
  

Dupont Corian

• Corian is a product made by DuPont. Although commonly found in kitchens and bathrooms as countertop material, DuPont also offers a line of three-wall bath surrounds. Corian tub surrounds come in a ready-to-install kit that is available in heights of either 60 inches or 72 inches. Corian tub surrounds can even be installed over existing tile walls. They have a semi-gloss finish and have rounded corners so there are no hard-to-clean areas.
  
  

Swanstone

• Swan Corporation has been making kitchen and bath products for more than 40 years and introduced the Swan Shell Shower in 1964, which was the forerunner to most tub surrounds made today. They offer three lines of tub surrounds, including Veritek and Swan High Gloss, but Swanstone is their best seller. Unlike the other manufacturers, Swanstone tub surrounds are available in more than 35 colors. They can also be accessorized with different styles of seats, shelves and soap dishes. They also comes in a variety of sizes, even custom sizes to fit any decor and feature raised trim, eliminating the need for a separate trim kit.
