How to Clean With Vinegar & Salt
- 1). Pour one part table salt and four parts plain white vinegar into a spray bottle. Shake the bottle vigorously to combine the solution.
- 2). Spray the vinegar and salt solution onto the filthy surface. Use the solution like an all-purpose cleaner on metal, wood, ceramic tiles, shower walls, appliances and most household surfaces.
- 3). Wipe a soft cleaning cloth over the dampened surface to remove the filth. Rinse the cloth frequently with water while cleaning. Fully rinse the vinegar and salt solution from the surface.
- 4). Dry the surface with a clean, absorbent towel.
- 1). Add 1 tbsp. of plain white vinegar and 2 tbsp. of table salt to an ordinary bowl. Mix the vinegar and salt thoroughly to create a gritty paste.
- 2). Rub the gritty paste over the rusted or stained surface using a kitchen spatula. Let the homemade vinegar and salt paste dry for three hours.
- 3). Wet a cleaning sponge with hot water. With sponge, rub the dried paste to loosen the rust or stain from the surface. Rinse the cloth frequently with water while scrubbing.
- 4). Rinse the sponge thoroughly in fresh water. With the sponge, wipe the surface to fully rinse off the paste residue.
- 5). Dry the surface with a clean, absorbent towel.
