    • 1). Give the brass bell a basic cleaning. Take a cloth soaked in hot water and wipe off any dust or grime buildup. Use a cotton swab or toothpick on intricate details and gently scrape these out.

    • 2). Create the natural cleaning solution. In a small bowl, pour 2 tsp. of lemon juice and 2 tsp. of white vinegar. Create a gritty paste by adding baking soda until the desired consistency is reached.

    • 3). Scrub the brass bells with the paste. Dab the corner of a clean cloth in the paste and gently scrub the brass. Rinse with lukewarm water when finished.

    • 4). Apply a layer of polish. To protect the metal and bring out its shine, apply a layer of brass polish. Buff out the item with a clean cloth.
