How to Remove Zeno Adware
- 1). Click on the "Start" button and then click on the "Run" button.
- 2). Open the Registry Editor by typing "Regedit" into the Run window and then pressing the "Enter" key.
- 3). Use the left navigation pane to browse through the registry to the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run" key.
- 4). Delete the "SysStart," "{1C-CC-C5-54-ZN}," "{00-07-71-1C-ZN}," and "BrowserUpdateSched" keys in the right-hand pane by right-clicking on them and selecting the "Delete" option.
- 5). Browse to the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\" key and then delete the "Zeno" key in the right-hand pane.
- 6). Close the Registry Editor, right click on the Start button, select "Explore" and then delete the "swintrag.exe" file, located in the "C:\Windows\System32\" directory.
- 7). Reboot your computer. The Zeno removal is now complete.
