How to Remove White Mold
- 1). Open any windows or work in a well-ventilated area if you can. Bleach fumes can be overpowering and lead to headaches and nausea.
- 2). Mix one part bleach to one part water in your squirt bottle. Swirl the bottle to mix.
- 3). Squirt the bleach mixture directly onto the white mold. Allow to set for at least 15 minutes. If the mold is still there after 15 minutes, spray again.
- 4). Wet your washcloth and wipe it over the area that you bleached.
- 5). Dry the area with your second washcloth. Make sure that the area is completely dry so no new mold is produced.
- 1). Fill your small bowl with water.
- 2). Add a few drops of liquid soap and swirl with your fingers to mix.
- 3). Dip your washcloth into the soap mixture and apply it to the white mold. Scrub in a circular motion until the while mold is removed.
- 4). Wash the fabric in your washing machine if you can. If not, then wet your second washcloth with water and wipe away any soapy residue. Pat dry.
