Peter even directly asks, "what happened to good old family values?" If you have ever seen an episode of Family Guy, you would know that good old family values are one of the lasts things promoted on the show.
Family Guy routinely makes fun of people, religions, bands, anything touchy that you could think of.
All of this is to just get a laugh! Like I said earlier, the theme song is so "right" for the show, because Peter, Lois, and even Stewie are making fun of the "old timers" while performing at the same time.
They are basically suggesting that the people who miss family values and a warm and cuddly t.

show that makes you feel good inside are behind the times! I think that the theme song could be slightly improved in a couple of ways: 1.
Include all six of the main characters of the show.
Chris, Meg, and even Brian deserve to be in the opening, they are just as important to the show as the other three main characters.

Change it up! Ever since the show first started to air in 1999, the same old boring theme song has been played over and over again, they could at least change a small detail to make the show more enticing.
