How to Clean the Burner Chamber of a Beckett Oil Burner

    • 1). Turn off the Beckett oil burner and allow the combustion chamber to cool completely.

    • 2). Put on a face mask and lay a sheet or large piece of cardboard in front of the chamber's door. Open the door to the chamber.

    • 3). Brush all of the soot and ash buildup from the inside of the chamber and the chamber's door with the chimney brush. Scrub at the soot as hard as you can to scrape it off.

    • 4). Vacuum up any loose ash or soot from the chamber and the door.

    • 5). Close the chamber's door and dispose of the cardboard or the sheet.
