Cleaning Marble Floors
- 1). Use a dust mop as often as possible to remove the dust particles from the marble surface.
- 2). Use a cotton string mop daily. Marble floors are porous, and daily grime and dirt can cause damage if not removed.
- 3). Mix water and ammonia to clean the marble floors. The mixture should be heavily diluted and should not contain more than .005 percent ammonia, or 1 part in 200.
- 4). Use a neutral pH cleaner, such as dish detergent, to clean up spills and mild stains.
