How to Replace a Glass Stove
- 1). Unplug the old glass stove from the outlet and move it onto the dolly. Roll the dolly out of your kitchen and dispose of the old glass stove.
- 2). Place some vinegar into a spray bottle and spray the area the stove was. Allow it to sit for one minute and wipe it up with a damp cloth to clean the area of any spills or crumbs
- 3). Slide the new glass stove into the place the old glass stove was, but leave it sticking out enough that you can still reach behind it.
- 4). Plug in the new glass stove and push it in the rest of the way. The stove might stick out from a wall by 1 inch to 1/2 inch because of the plug.
- 5). Remove any protective cover from the new glass stove's cooktop and wipe it down with a clean damp cloth. Turn on the stove to ensuure it heats up properly. The burners under the glass stove will turn red when they are on.
