After a host of Emmy and Golden Globe awards, the show came to an end after six seasons and 94 episodes. It later spawned two successful full-length movies.
FriendsOne of the greatest comedy shoes of all time, Friends told the story of Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Ross, Joey and Chandler. Many visitors to New York go in search of the Central Perk coffee house, but it never really existed in real life. The stars of the show became huge stars around the world, and there were plenty of memorable guest appearances from the likes of Robin Williams, Bruce Willis, Charlton Heston, Susan Sarandon and Brad Pitt. The show managed an impressive 236 episodes before its tear-jerking finale in 2004.
King of QueensThe show that made stars of Kevin James and Leah Remini, King of Queens was set in the easterly New York borough that gives its name to the title. Doug and Carrie Heffernan are a typical young couple who endure life's ups and downs with varying degrees of success. Carrie's father, Arthur, lives in their basement and is the source of much of their discomfort. Played by Ben Stiller's father Jerry, Arthur often steals the show. King of Queens ran for nine seasons before calling it a day in 2007.
