How to Kill White Slime in a Jacuzzi
- 1). Pour 4 cups of vinegar in the gallon bucket and fill the rest of the bucket with warm water. Swirl the rag in the vinegar mixture and wipe down the inside of the tub. Dip the toothbrush in the vinegar and water mixture and scrub the jets and intake grids. Rinse the tub with clean water. Set the bucket and rag aside for later.
- 2). Fill the tub 2 inches above the jets with hot water. Add the automatic dishwasher detergent and bleach. Start the jets and run for 15 minutes. Turn off the jets and drain the tub.
- 3). Fill the tub 2 inches above the jets with cold water. Run the jets for 15 minutes to rinse the pipes thoroughly. Turn off the jets and drain the tub.
- 4). Wipe the inside of the tub, hardware and all other surfaces with the vinegar and water mixture to bring the tub to a bright shine.
