Arrange the cut out letters or designs on the cover of the card. Glue them in place; . the lettering will be raised and resemble embossing, giving the card a sophisticated look.

Cut or tear a piece of white vellum so that it is just smaller than the entire inside of the card. Print your message on the right side of the vellum with your computer printer, or write it with a permanent marker and allow the ink to dry. Fold the vellum in half. Place the vellum inside the card again so the crease of the vellum falls along the crease of the card. Punch holes in the vellum so they line up with the punched holes in the card. Thread a ribbon through the holes and tieon the outside of the card, along the crease, to hold the vellum in place.

Glue the paper to one side of the card stock, matching all of the corners. Punch a hole on each side, approximately 1/2 inch from the edge, centered between the top and bottom. Hold the card paper side up. Use a ruler and pencil to mark each side, exactly 3 inches from the edge. Fold each side inward. The two farthest edges will fold in and meet in the middle of the card. The holes should match up.

    Peek-A-Boo Card

    • Cut a piece of card stock into the size card you want, fold in half. Open it again, and turn it so the cover side is face up. Use a stencil to draw an image suiting the occasion. Center the image on the side that will be the front cover of the card. Cut the image out.

Turn the card over. Cut a square of paper with a theme pattern printed on it to be just larger than your image. Glue the square on the inside of the card so that when you close it, you can see the printed paper through the cut-out image.

Use letter stickers or die cuts to write the type of party on the front cover of the card, surrounding the cut out. Hand write your message on the inside of the card above or below the square of patterned paper.
