How to Download Ringtones Using Bluetooth
- 1). Plug your Bluetooth dongle into your computer's USB port and install the software that came with the dongle.
- 2). Pair your mobile phone with your Bluetooth dongle. To do this, you have to first activate the dongle on your PC and your phone. In the Bluetooth menu on your phone, search for other devices to connect to. Find the dongle and select to pair the two devices.
- 3). Open the Bluetooth software on your computer. Click on the ringtone file and drag it into your Bluetooth folder. You should be able to drop it into the Sounds or Files folder. This will tell your dongle to transfer the dropped files to your cell phone. The transfer dialog box will pop up and notify you when it's done.
- 4). Locate the ringtone file on your phone and go about setting it as your ringtone. Each phone is different so you will have to follow the ringtone instructions for your specific phone.
