    • 1). Unscrew the iPod speaker system so that you can completely remove the speaker cones. Do not cut or damage the wires. Portable iPod speaker systems are built in many different ways and it is important to use one with easily located screws. The speaker cones themselves are usually just positioned in place, though in some cases, you may need to unscrew them from the shell, as well.

    • 2). Screw the speaker system back together so that it functions. The speaker cones should now by outside of the plastic frame itself but still connected by the speaker wire.

    • 3). Apply glue to the outer edges of the speaker cones and attach them face down to the bottom of your waterproof container. Once the glue has dried, put the rest of the speaker system inside the container without placing it on the speaker cones themselves.

    • 4). Plug in your iPod and place it in the container with the rest of the speaker system. Hit play, and close the latch on the container.
