Clearing Device Database

• 1). Connect your BlackBerry to your computer using the supplied USB cable. The Desktop Manager will pop up.
  
  
• 2). Click the "Backup and Restore" button. Select "Advanced".
  
  
• 3). Hold down the Shift key, select all of the databases, and click "Clear". Click "OK" to finish. You will now have cleared all the BlackBerry data on your PC.
  
  

Wipe Handheld Device

• 1). Turn on your BlackBerry. Go to "Options".
  
  
• 2). Select "Security". Go to the "General Security" tab.
  
  
• 3). Use the trackball to scroll to "Wipe Handheld". Select "Continue".
  
  
• 4). Type "BlackBerry" to confirm the restore. The Blackberry will no longer have any data on it, and will be restored to it's original settings.
