Treating Frizzy Hair Shouldn"t Put You in a Tizzy

Is your hair frizzy? You're not alone! Wavy or curly hair tends to go crazy in rainy weather or if there's a lot of humidity in the air.
Many women even feel like they have frizzy hair all the time.
Being wavy-haired and frizzy myself, I asked my stylist how to look after my hair properly and got his quick and easy tips to follow.
Here's what I do and it helps get rid of those frustrating fly-aways.
1.
Use deep conditioner at least once a week.
Leave it on for at least 30 minutes.
A frizzy hair that is not well moisturized will likely look even frizzier and drive you nuts.
If your hair lacks moisture badly, you can leave conditioner on even over night.
2.
Nothing will keep your hair smooth like moisture, so read carefully what's written on a new product that you are about to use.
Ingredients like alcohol or sodium lauryl sulfates are enemies that will dry your hair.
3.
Like many women, I also did not know that towel drying creates more static than blow-drying, especially when it is not done the right way.
Use a thin towel now and do not rub or squeeze your hair like crazy.
4.
Avoid washing your hair every day.
Excessive usage of shampoos will remove your hair's natural shine and moisture.
But if you really feel like washing your hair on daily basis, then use just water and conditioner.
Give shampoos some break! 5.
Quite opposite to what many women think, blow drying does not have to create frizz when hair is properly finished.
Therefore, apply a leave-in conditioner (it is made to prepare your hair for heat styling) and use a wide-toothed plastic comb for detangling.
Always dry your hair downward.
6.
Split ends and breakage are also major causes of frizz.
You can prevent it by getting regular trims.
Like that ends of your hair will stay healthy and smooth.
7.
Use plastic bristle hair brush because it creates less static than fiber bristles.
Less static means less damage to your hair follicle, and less frizz.
8.
A frizz control serum is necessary to finish your style, but do not apply it directly to your hair.
Try applying it through on your comb and then comb your hair with it.
Like this, you will apply it evenly.
9.
You run a busy schedule and it is not always possible to follow all previous steps? When you are in a hurry, any common moisturizer will serve well as a de-frizzing cream.
Just rub it between your fingers and run through frizzy parts.
