The Cure is in Your Cupboard - Organic Beauty Beats Cellulite
Cellulite :(
Polls show that men don’t care about women’s cellulite as much as women do. Unfortunately the appearance of cellulite and its impact on confidence are uppermost in many women’s minds. Read my articles on healthy tips for skin to look it’s smooth best as well as instructions for Daily Dry Brushing. If you haven’t started dry brushing, know this, that wood and fiber brush is cellulite’s kryptonite.
Kaboom!
Ingredient Number 1
Coffee smells good all the time, which is why it’s so darn difficult to just say no. Without a doubt, drinking more than 2 cups a day, shows up on our face with a dry, dehydrated and run down appearance. The good news: organic coffee is great to use on our skin. Organic coffee is an antioxidant and antioxidants are anti-agers repairing damaged cells and scrubbing out free radicals. Caffeine constricts skin and blood vessels and reduces the appearance of cellulite. When we massage with a scrub, we also move lymph drawing toxins, debris and puffiness out of an area and onto the detox path.Â
Ingredient Number 2
Mineral salt is rich in, well, minerals, which are building blocks of skin, hair, teeth, nails and bone. Salt also has a drawing quality and is effective in gargles for sore throats, foot baths for tired, swollen feet, poultices for blisters and infections, and tub soaks for aching and tired muscles. Salt scrubs remove inflammation, toxins, and puffiness and boost your glow factor.

Ingredient Number 3
Organic coconut oil is in practically every room in my house! It’s in the kitchen for rubbing on kale for nummy kale chips, sautéing ginger and garlic for veggie Thai inspired food, and a spoonful a day boosts good omegas. It’s in my shower for skin and hair care.  It’s on my dressing table alongside my organic make-up for more delicious organic coconut moisture. I am not shy with coconut oil and use gobs of raw organic oil daily. Organic coconut oil is a light and penetrating oil with a tasty scent. It’s safe for the whole family to use and can step in for shaving cream, leave-in conditioners, nail conditioning and also soothes sunburn, rosacea and other rashes.
DIY Organic Coffee Scrub
½ cup Organic Medium Ground Coffee
½ cup Mineral Salt
5 Tablespoons Organic Raw Coconut Oil
Blend all ingredients together in a small mixing bowl.
How to Scrub
1. This scrub is messy and may stain, just like spilled coffee does, so use an older bath mat next to your shower or tub.Â
2. Drop a mesh screen into your drain to catch the grounds and keep them from clogging pipes.Â
3. Take a quick warm shower to clean your skin and get warm.
4. Lightly towel off.
5. Take a handful of Coffee Scrub and apply to targeted areas, like thighs, bottom and tummy. Using an open palm, scrub in circular motions for a few minutes. And then let the scrub stay on your skin for 5 minutes.Â
6. Optional: Prep some ceramide rich Avocado Mask and apply it now to your face and throat while you wait.
7. After 5 minutes turn on your shower and keep scrubbing till all the salt and coffee rinses from your skin.
8. Don’t use any soap or cleanser; the salt and oil will get you clean and polished.
9. Dry off, put on your favorite loungewear and lounge!
