How Do I Play World of Warcraft If the Launcher Is Missing?
- 1). Open the Start Menu and click "Computer." Navigate to your World of Warcraft directory. By default, this is "C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft" on 64-bit systems or "C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft" if you are running Windows 32-bit.
- 2). Locate the "Launcher.exe" file. Right-click on the file and click "Copy."
- 3). Return to the desktop and click "Paste shortcut" to place a shortcut to the World of Warcraft Launcher. If you want to be able to access the launcher from the game, drag the shortcut into the start menu.
- 1). Return to your World of Warcraft directory if you could not find the "Launcher.exe" file in the previous section.
- 2). Locate "Repair.exe" in your World of Warcraft folder. Double-click to open it.
- 3). Click the "Repair" button. The utility will repair your game installation by replacing any missing or damaged files. This may take some time, especially if a great deal of data needs to be downloaded.
