How to Add Custom Ringtones on the Sprint Touch Phone
- 1). Turn on the Sprint Touch smartphone by pressing the center button on the front faceplate of the phone. The Sprint Touch will then activate the phone's home screen, displaying all the smartphone's default navigation buttons.
- 2). Connect the Sprint Touch smartphone to your computer using the included USB connection cables. Wait for your computer to detect the device.
- 3). Open the "My Computer" folder on your computer by double-clicking its icon on your desktop or selecting it from the Start menu in the lower left-hand corner of the screen.
- 4). Double-click the icon for your phone. You'll see it listed below the row of icons for each of your hard drive partitions.
- 5). Open the folder labeled "Windows." Double-click the folder named "Rings."
- 6). Drag the digital music file you wish to use as a custom ringtone into the Rings folder. The custom ringtones for the Sprint Touch may be WMA, MP3, MID or WAV music files. Close the window.
- 7). Disconnect the Sprint Touch smartphone from your computer.
- 8). Tap "File Explorer" on the touchscreen of the Sprint Touch smartphone. Use your finger or a stylus to press and hold down the name of the file. In the pop-up menu that appears on the screen, tap "Set as Ring Tone." The song file will now be used as a ringtone and will play anytime your Sprint Touch receives a text message or phone call.
