How to flash a Xbox 360 Samsung Drive

    • 1). First, goto http://www.jungleflasher.net/ and download the latest version of jungle flasher.

      Go to http://www.ixtreme.net/downloads/ixtreme-firmware-t167.html and download iXtreme 1.6 firmware for your drive. Make sure it's the Samsung firmware.

      Unpack the Jungle Flasher folder and install the "IO PORT" in the folder. There are instructions to install this automatically and manually.

      Unpack the iXtreme folder and transfer its contents to the "FIRMWARE" folder in Jungle Flasher.

    • 5). Unplug the SATA cable on your 360 drive and connect the drive to your SATA plugs on your computer. Connect your A/V and power cords up to your system but don't connect to a TV.

      Power on your 360 and double click the Jungle Flasher application. You will be presented with a welcome screen followed by the app. Goto the "MTK32" tab. You should see your Xbox drive info in the lower left section. If not, change your IO port in the upper left until it shows. If it doesn't show, try restarting the app. Click "SammyUnlock". It should read and unlock your drive. This will be confirmed by "Vender Mode" in your info box.

      Once in Vendor Mode, click "Read" button. This will upload your original firmware and key. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU SAVE THIS FILE WHEN IT ASKS YOU TO. After you save you should automatically ask you if you want to load the iXtreme firmware. Click YES.

      Click on the Firmware Tool Tab. In the "Source" should be your original firmware and Key. If you have all 7's or 0's then you have to re-read your drive. In the Target is your iXtreme Firmware. Once you have confirmed your source info, click on "Spoof source to Target" button. Then click save to file.

      After you save it, go back to the MTK32 tab and click the WRITE button. This will copy the firmware to your drive. It will confirm this by itself. In the status box you will get a "Flash confirmed and Verified".
      That's it. Click Outro/ATA Reset Button.Have fun.
