How to Install Windows 98 Software
- 1). Insert the Windows 98 floppy disk into your computer's floppy disk drive.
- 2). Restart your machine and let it boot until you see the Windows 98 Startup Menu.
- 3). Select "Start computer with CD-ROM support" and press ENTER. This will load the Windows 98 CD Drivers, which will identify your CD drive and assign it a drive letter.
- 4). Insert your Windows 98 Installation CD in the CD-ROM drive and wait for the command prompt to appear.
- 5). Type "D:\setup" and press "Enter". If necessary, change "D" to the proper drive letter for your CD-ROM Drive. This will begin the setup process. From here, simply agree to Microsoft's terms of service, set the date and time and click "Install".
