How to Loosen the Belt on an Arctic Cat F6
- 1). Open the hood and access panel for the side of the clutches. Remove the clutch guard.
- 2). Lock your parking brake on the snowmobile's handlebars.
- 3). Remove the bolt which fastens the primary clutch to the drive shaft, with a wrench.
- 4). Pry the insert out with the bolt you removed. Reverse this insert and install it back into its location. Put the bolt back into the drive shaft and tighten. This will separate the clutch, loosening the belt for removal.
