How to Set the Default on the Taskbar
- 1). Click and hold your left mouse button anywhere in the center area of the taskbar. Do not click on the left side of the taskbar if you have the quick launch bar enabled. This wouldn't allow you to move the taskbar.
- 2). Drag the taskbar to the position you want to set as the default. You can move it to the top, left, right or bottom edge of your desktop.
- 3). Release the left mouse button. You'll notice the taskbar has moved to the place you wanted to move it to.
- 4). Click the right mouse button on the taskbar. Click on "Lock the Taskbar." This sets the current position as the default. Should you decide to move the taskbar, click "Lock the Taskbar" again to unlock it, and then move it.
