You have made up your mind that you want to be in great physical shape.
You no longer want to be overweight.
You have gone through the pain and agony of being overweight so long that you are tired of it.
What are you going to do about your weight problem? There are many things advertised on television for weight loss.
However, do you trust your life to those products? Do you know exactly what they put in those products? The true answer to those questions is, "no.
" Therefore, you should find a solution that will work and is safe.
The solution for your weight problems is diet and exercise.
If you eat the proper foods and get daily exercise, your weight will go down.
And before you know it, you will be in great physical shape and be the envy of your friends and family members.
So, would you like to lose weight and be in great physical shape? I am sure you do.
Now that you have made up your mind to lose weight, there are a few things you should do first.
First of all, you should eliminate everything from your life that contributed to you being overweight.
Examples of those things include food that made you gain weight.
Empty out your cabinets and empty out your refrigerators of all the foods that are unhealthy.
Once you have eliminated all the bad foods out of your house, you now need to set yourself up for success.
What I mean by that is you need to say to yourself, "I will succeed.
" This means that you will not let anything get in your way at all.
Not your friends, not your family members, not your schedule; nothing else will stop you from doing what you need to do in order to lose weight.
If you do not do that, you will not succeed because your mind will not be as focused as it needs to be.
As soon as you get focused, you are ready to start losing weight.
Remember, I said you should get rid of all unhealthy foods from your house so you will not have to eat them anymore.
I guess you are wondering what you should replace those unhealthy foods with.
Replace them with healthy foods like fruits and vegetables.
Foods that are high in fiber and low in fat should also be added to your diet.
Foods that are high in fats and sugars are the ones that should be eliminated.
Also, as part of your diet, you should drink the recommended daily amount of water.
That amount is eight to ten cups of water daily.
If you eat the proper foods and drink enough water everyday, you will be able to lose weight.
Exercise is something that all people need in their daily lives.
Exercise helps anybody that is overweight lose weight.
If you have been inactive lately, you should start off by walking.
Walking will help your heart pump blood around your body.
When you go outside to walk, walk about half a mile, if you can, slowly.
Once you have walked half a mile for about two weeks, you can start walking a mile.
After you have walked a mile for about two weeks, as well, you can start jogging.
When you start jogging, your body will be burning a lot of fat and calories, and you will be losing a lot of weight.
After you have jogged for a while and you feel very comfortable with it, you can start doing more intense exercise like lifting weights and such.
Doing all that will help you lose weight.
The summary of what we have gone over is simple.
You want to lose weight and be in great physical shape, right? Get rid of all the unhealthy foods(high in fat and high in sugar) in you house and replace them with healthy ones(Fruits & vegetables and foods high in fiber).
Drink the daily recommended amount of water.
Start doing physical exercise to assist you in your weight-loss goal(walking half a mile to a mile every day in your spare time).
Do those things(eating right and exercising) daily and you will see great results in a few weeks.
It may take months to reach your goal, but once you start seeing results you will not stop until you have reached your goal.
