    • 1). Click "Go" at the top of your Mac's desktop screen and click "Applications." Press "Control" and click the "iTunes" icon, and click "Open."

    • 2). Click "Store" on the iTunes' menu bar, and click "Check for Purchases." Type your iTunes account username and password, and click "Check."

    • 3). Click the "Downloads" tab in the iTunes' sidebar to view the progress of the re-downloaded audio track.

    • 4). Click the "Music" tab in the iTunes' sidebar and locate the original audio track. Press "Control" and click the damaged track and click "Delete."

    • 5). Click "Delete" on the pop-up menu to move the track to your trash.
