Get the SIM ID through the Phone's Menu

• 1). Turn on the Nextel i730.
  
  
• 2). Press the pound key (#), followed by star (*). Press the Menu key (the button with the little book-looking icon printed on it, located in the top-left fourth of the phone's keypad, followed by the "Right Arrow" key. This should bring up the Trace Mode menu.
  
  
• 3). Use the arrow keys to scroll down the Trace Mode menu to highlight "IMEI/SIM ID." Press the softkey under the word "View," or press "OK" to select the highlighted option. Fourteen of the fifteen numbers in the SIM ID for your i730 phone should appear in the display. Just add 0 to the end of the number in the display to get your i730's complete SIM ID.
  
  

Get the SIM ID from the SIM Card

• 1). Turn off the Nextel i730.
  
  
• 2). Push down on the phone's battery door cover, located on the back of the phone, to release its lock, then lift the cover off the phone. Remove the battery.
  
  
• 3). Press down on the SIM card tab and carefully slide the card out of the SIM card holder. Take care not to touch the gold integrated circuitry on the front of the card.
  
  
• 4). Look on the back of the card. The 15-digit SIM ID number is printed on the back of the SIM card.
  
  
• 5). Hold the SIM card so that the chipped edge is positioned in the bottom left of the phone. Carefully slide the SIM card back into the SIM card holder. Reinsert the phone's battery and put the battery door cover back on.
