• ArtStart provides girls in the St. Paul area an opportunity to have a creative birthday party. As of September 2010, the cost for the party was $125 for up to 10 children. The birthday girl can choose from a number of themes, including fairytale fun, bookmaking, animal shakers and creature masks. The parties are held for two hours on Saturdays and Sundays. The Gymnastics Academy

• The Gymnastics Academy in Duluth has a birthday party package for girls that includes one hour of gymnastics time on the inflatable obstacle course, foam pits, bars, trampolines and spring gymnastics floor. There is also an area where girls can eat pizza and cake, open presents or play games. The guest of honor receives a free T-shirt, and all girls take home prizes.
