    Photo Montage

    • Create a photo montage in the center of the table. You'll need to make copies of pictures of the graduate if you have more than one table to decorate. Place a tall cake plate in the center of the table. Put the framed photographs on top of the cake plate and along the bottom. You could put the graduation picture on the top and the other pictures along the bottom. Add pictures of the graduate from his or her elementary, middle and high school years. Top of your photo montage by adding some graduation cap confetti to the cake stand table top.

    Profession Centerpiece

    • Make centerpieces that signify the graduate's chosen profession. If your graduate plans on being a teacher, create a centerpiece that reflects that profession. Use elements like apples, rulers and small chalkboards. If your graduate has decided to become a lawyer, place an old-fashioned kind of scale in the center with some law books. Whatever the profession of the graduate, use items to demonstrate that profession. Start in the center with the largest item and add the smaller components around it.

    School Colors

    • Make a centerpiece using the graduate's school colors. Use flowers that reflect the school's colors. Place them in a vase and position them in the center of the table. There's no need to be shy with your floral arrangements. Make them big and over-the-top if you like. You could bring in the school colors by adding an assortment of candles to the center of the table. For a more dramatic look, use pillar candles and place them on candle holders of different sizes. Scatter metallic confetti among the candles to reflect the light of the candles.
