Clean The Sea Shells

• 1). Rinse excess salt and sand from the shells with water.
  
  
• 2). Put a few squirts of liquid dish detergent in a bowl and fill it with warm water.
  
  
• 3). Wash each shell with a cloth or a sponge and rinse it with warm water.
  
  
• 4). Spread the shells on a towel and let them completely dry overnight.
  
  

Apply Scented Oil

  Soak a cotton ball in the scented or essential oil of your choice.
  
  
• 2). Brush the top and bottom of each shell with the cotton ball to thoroughly cover it with the scent. Reapply scent to the cotton ball as needed.
  
  
• 3). Store the shells in a shallow glass jar, bowl or vase so the scent can permeate the room.
