How to Make Inexpensive Angel Ornaments

• 1). Paint the large wooden bead with gold craft paint, and set it aside to dry. You may need to apply more than one coat of paint for the bead to be fully covered.
  
  
• 2). Roll one doily into a cone shape. This is the body of your angel, so the cone can be as large as you want your angel to be. Glue the cone together applying a line of glue along the underside of the overlapping edge. Cut the edge of the open side of the cone so it is even all the way around and can stand up without wobbling.
  
  
• 3). Set the cone on a flat surface with the tip pointing toward the ceiling. The lace of the doily should make up the tip of the cone. Glue the pipe cleaner so that it is centered, about one inch down from the point, right below the lace. Bend the pipe cleaners forward, making arms.
  
  
• 4). Make a loop out of a piece of ribbon and glue both ends to the same spot that you have glued the pipe cleaner. This will be a way you hang the angel, so allow it to dry thoroughly.
  
  
• 5). Fold the second doily in half, and then cut the top point off into an angle. When you open the doily, it should resemble a heart shape. Glue the doily down the back of the angel--cover the ribbon and pipe cleaner. This makes the angel's wings. Glue the gold-painted bead on the point of the cone.
