With the advancement in recent years of technology in printing and software it is possible to have any image put onto vinyl floors. So how could you improve some of the worlds most famous buildings. So why would you want to cover flooring that has lasted for hundreds of years with vinyl floors ? Because of the fact it has been around for hundreds of years, it has chipped cracked and eroded, so much so that many areas are cordoned off as too precious to stand on or covered over with plastic sheeting or boards to stop the floor from being damaged any further.

So if the original picture was of say, the last supper You could lay the vinyl floors over the original image and the only way you could tell the difference from the original was by touch.
