Hi, my name is Tracey Brown. I'm a beauty expert. I have about 30 years of industry experience in makeup, skincare and also as a trainer. I am currently a writer, a beauty journalist and I have a great website, Blingingbeauty.com where you can read more about my tips and advice. Our topic today is how to line the outer corners of the eye with liner. So I have my model, Chelsie here. We've already lined one eye. Lining outside the eye is kind of a cat eye or winged out effect and it really needs precision. So one way to get that is to use a smaller liner brush. So I'm not using the one that came with the liner. This is a Milani blue liquid liner, pretty vibrant, shows up well on her eyes. So our first step is going to make the connecting line before we actually line the upper lash line. So once you've got this part done that's half the battle. You've got the outside wing done, go back in and then use small connecting strokes on the lash line for your first time around, lifting on the lid assures you get right in there at the lash line. The base of the lash is where you want that dark color. When you get to the outside, go ahead and connect that line, the first one you made from the outside. Be sure to let your liquid liner dry, otherwise you end up with a second line in the middle of your eyelid unless you want that look. A couple of tips if you have a problem doing freehand, you can take a business card, line it up diagonally along the side of your eye and just trace against that or you can use a makeup wedge the same way, line it up and then do the eyeliner right there and of course, since sometimes we're not perfect, keep your concealer and your concealer brush handy. So there we have how to line outside of the eyes using a liner. If you have any more questions about eyeliner, makeup and beauty, feel free to email me at Tracey@Blingingbeauty.com.
