    • 1). Pour 1 cup of pure grape seed oil into a zip-close bag. Grape seed oil can be found at any grocery store where olive, vegetable, canola, coconut and other oils can be found--grape seed oil can also be used for cooking.

    • 2). Add 4 drops of any essential oil to the bag.

    • 3). Seal the bag tightly, and shake the bag to mix the oils together.

    • 4). Fill a bowl with hot tap water. Place the bag into the bowl for 15 minutes. Take a shower while the oils are heating up. Wash your hair, as normal, with shampoo, then rinse the shampoo out.

    • 5). Snip off one of the corners of the plastic bag with a pair of scissors. Allow the oil to flow from the hole and coat your hair. Comb the oil through your hair using your fingers.

    • 6). Let the oil set for 15 minutes. Rinse the oil out of your hair with warm water, then the coolest water you can stand. The cold water will help to seal your cuticles.

    • 7). Allow your hair to air dry. Style your hair using a flat iron as usual.
