How to Make Your Own Kissing Booth Costume
- 1). Find a cardboard box that is large enough to fit over your torso. Remove the flaps on one side of the box to fit the box over your body; the opposite end will sit on top of your head when you are finished, so it should be left intact.
- 2). Draw a heart on the side of the box that will be facing the front. Cut the heart out of the cardboard so that you have a heart-shaped window that opens in front of your face.
- 3). Turn the box onto its left side. Find the center of the side and cut a hole that is large enough to accommodate your upper arm. Flip the box over and cut the same size hole from the right side.
- 4). Paint the inside of the box with silver spray paint. Spray paint the entire outside of the box in red. Let the paint dry. Paint "Kissing Booth" at the top and bottom of the heart using acrylic paint. Allow the words to dry.
- 5). Lay the box down with the heart shape facing up. Place a yard of fabric over the heart side of the box. Cut off any fabric that hangs over the right and left sides of the box using a pair of scissors.
- 6). Hot glue the top end of the fabric to the box. Cut the fabric in half down the center so that it opens to reveal the heart cutout.
- 7). Snip off two 12-inch lengths of ribbon from your scrap material. Gather one of the fabric curtains, and wrap a piece of ribbon around the center of the fabric. Hot glue each end of the ribbon to the side of the box so that it functions as a curtain tie-back. Repeat this with the other curtain.
- 8). Put on a pair of red sweatpants and a red T-shirt to wear while inside the kissing booth.
- 9). Lift the box over your head, and stick your arms through the holes on the sides. Your head will remain inside the box. Your face will look through the heart-shaped window of the kissing booth.
