Make Valuable Items

• Crafting in "The Lord of the Rings Online" has always been a viable way to make money. Metalsmiths, Cooks and Weaponsmiths are all profitable professions, but the easiest way to make money crafting in "The Lord of the Rings Online" is to make and sell jewelry. Critically successful jewelry can provide highly valuable statistical increases to players, and are also highly sought after. A critically successful Adamant Bracelet provides double the agility and health bonus that a regular bracelet would, and can sell for up to two gold pieces each at the Auction House. There are two earring slots, two bracelet slots, two ring slots, and one necklace slot for players to outfit, so critical jewelry is typically in high demand.
  
  

Gather and Sell Ore

• Ore is one of the most valuable resources in "The Lord of the Rings Online" because it is required to make powerful weapons, armor, shields and jewelry. Three of the most in-demand professions -- Metalsmiths, Weaponsmiths and Jewelers -- all use ore in each of their crafted items. Adding to its value is the fact that gathering ore takes a large amount of time, as players must track and then mine ore nodes that may be spread across large distances. A full stack of Gold Ore can sell for as much as five gold pieces, while more common ores like Copper or Tin can sell for up to two gold per stack on the Auction House block.
  
  

Looting Enemies

• Much of the gameplay in "The Lord of the Rings Online" is based around combat. Experience is gained, quests are completed, and abilities are upgraded all by defeating monsters. Another added benefit to defeating monsters in "The Lord of the Rings Online" is that many of them drop valuable items. Many of these items can either be sold to players for use in crafting or combat, or sold to vendors in large stacks. The easiest way to make money from defeating monsters is to fight humanoid or undead creatures that tend to drop a variety of loot. One area that drops a large amount of valuable loot is the Haudh Icarcith instances scattered throughout the Barrow-Downs. Undead enemies there often drop up to five different items each worth more than three silver. A character above level 30 can defeat the monsters in Haudh Icarcith quickly and make quite a bit of gold doing it.
  
  

Selling Shards

• One of the most rare ingredients used in crafting in "The Lord of the Rings Online" is the valuable shard. Shards come in a variety, including sapphire, ruby, adamant and beryl. There are several different ways to get shards, but the most efficient way is to complete collection quests located in Harloeg, in the Lone-Lands area. Eric the Stone-Speaker gives out a series of small quests there that reward players with ruby shards upon their completion. Ruby shards are used by crafters to complete highly valuable critically successful jewelry and often sell for up to two gold each at the Auction House.
