How to Fix a Snap Button
- 1). Place the fabric right side up on a flat surface and insert the flathead screwdriver between the top and base of the socket closure: the socket and stud.
- 2). Insert the screwdriver between the fabric and the stud. Be careful not to tear the fabric with the screwdriver.
- 3). Lift the screwdriver until the snap pops off.
- 4). Repeat Steps 1 through 3 to remove the socket closure on the opposite side of the fabric.
- 5). Use the snap tool to replace the snap button. Place the top of the stud into the base of the tool and place the flat piece in the other side.
- 6). Put the snap tool underneath the fabric and insert the metal stud through the small hole in the fabric.
- 7). Position the metal stud through the hole and tap the top of the base with the hammer to firmly attach the stud and stud base.
- 8). Put the socket piece in the base of the snap tool and place the bottom of the socket piece into the other side of the tool.
- 9). Position the snap tool underneath the fabric and insert the ring through the hole in the fabric.

Use the hammer and tap the top of the snap tool to attach the socket and socket base. - 11
Repeat Steps 5 through 10 to install the remaining snaps for each hole.
