Hi, I¡¯m Robby LaRiviere, here at Lea Journo salon in Beverly Hills. And today, we¡¯re going to show you how to do a prom updo hairstyle using side bangs like we see some of the celebrities rock down the red carpet. On Millie today, all we did was we really just side-swept her bangs. Now, this look is something we¡¯ve seen on the likes of Jessica Biel walking down the red carpet. Ever since she did that blunt bang, she¡¯s kind of been sweeping it over to the side. And, this is a very easy, elegant look to create for your prom. I mean, it enhances the face ¨C it really shows off Millie¡¯s face as you can see here. And, I don¡¯t know, there¡¯s something kind of sexy and mysterious about a little hair coming in the face. And, I mean, with this part done, as far as the back of the hair, you can really do whatever you want. I just simply threw it into a side ponytail with some luscious rhinestone barrettes, and voila! Her look is complete. But truly, the sky is the limit with these side-swept bangs, that you can even do something up.
