We pretty much live by the mandate: what ever Emma Stone does, we do. So, when she showed up to the LA premiere of her new film, Irrational Man looking stunning, we had to get the insider scoop on her beauty look.

Inspired by Emma’s white mid-length gown, Celebrity Makeup Artist Rachel Goodwin created a modern and fresh look enhanced by a graphic eye and balanced by a pink lip.

“I wanted Emma’s makeup to have a modern and fresh feeling with a surprising pop of color.

I used a bright blue liner to create a graphic element to Emma’s eyes, which I offset by using a subtle pink on her lips for a hint of color that would complement the eye makeup without competing," says Goodwin.

Goodwin used the following products for Emma’s red-carpet look:

FACE:
  1. To begin, Emma’s skin was prepped with a lightweight moisturizer focusing on the outer perimeter of the face for a luminous glow everywhere but the t-zone.
  2. Goodwin then applied REVLON Nearly Naked Makeup in Vanilla (SRP$9.99) for a natural sheer base that allowed Emma’s skin to breath and freckles to come through, followed by REVLON PhotoReady Insta-Fix Makeup in Ivory (SRP: $12.99) strategically applied to areas where more coverage was desired.
  3. Goodwin dabbed REVLON Cream Blush in Charmed (SRP: $13.99) to the apples of the cheeks to create a soft pink appearance and added REVLON PhotoReady Skinlights Face Illuminator in Bare Light (SRP: $12.99) to the top of the cheekbones as a highlighter to enhance the glow of the skin.

    EYES:
    1. For the soft peach eye, REVLON Illuminance Crème Shadow in Skinlights (SRP: $6.99) was used, starting with the white cream  shade across the entire lid  and brow bone to catch the light, followed by the soft peach shade in the crease.
    2. To create the graphic eye, Goodwin used REVLON PhotoReady Kajal Matte Eye Pencil in Matte Marine (SRP: $8.99), applying the liner to the outer corners of Emma’s eyes in a “V shape” that allowed the color to be focused on just the edges of the eyes.
    3. To finish, lashes were curled with the REVLON Gold Series Titanium Coated Lash Curler (SRP: $9.99) and brushed with two coats of REVLON Bold Lacquer Length & Volume Mascara in Black (SRP: $7.99).
    4. Brows were defined and set with REVLON Brow Fantasy in Dark Blond (SRP: $7.50).

    LIPS:
    1. To balance the bright graphic eye, lips were painted with REVLON Ultra HD Lipstick in HD Primrose (SRP: $8.99) for hint of color that complemented the eye without competing.
