How to Recover Email Passwords on My Computer
- 1). Go to the website of the company or organization that provides your email. Every email is either provided by a school, company or organization of some kind that has a website.
- 2). Look for the support section on the website. Read the frequently asked questions or do a site search if they have a built in search box to find "password recovery."
- 3). Once you find the password recovery page, enter your email address in the space provided. The organization will either call you with your password, send it through postal mail, send it to a backup email address or let you reset the password. To reset the password, you'll have to answer security questions such as your social security number or preset questions which you provided in case you lost your password. You should then be able to enter a new password.
