It's easy enough, often, to spot an important message by its sender alone, or the subject perhaps. How easy is that sender to spot, though, in an inbox filled with emails that all have a sender and subject and date that look frighteningly similar?

Fortunately, you don't have to identify priority emails more often than once in Opera. With but one click, you can pin these messages and have them stand out in their folder or label.

The pin also synchronizes with an IMAP account's flagged status, so they will appear flagged or starred in other email programs and on the web, too.

Pin Important Messages in Opera

To pin a message in Opera and mark it as important:

• Click the pin in the message's header area (next to the date) to make sure it sticks in the message.

You can also:

• Click in the status column in the message list next to the message so a red dot appears or
• click the message with the right mouse button and select Pin Message from the menu that comes up.
