How do I Deliver Web Pages to Alternative Media Sources?

    • 1). Contact the alternative media source, usually at its Web page. Find out how to send it information. Most alternative media sources will have specific email addresses for tips or news stories. Copy down both the email address and the actual mailing address if it doesn't exist solely online.

    • 2). Go to the website you wish to send. Click in the menu of your Web browser and click "Save Page As." Give the page a name and save it to your desktop. This will save the page offline. Be sure to repeat this with any pieces of the page you also want to send, as Save Page As will simply save the page as it is, not the links or other pages.

    • 3). Attach the saved pages to an email and send the email to the alternative media source. Include the current website address in the email so the source may check that out as well.

    • 4). Print off the copies of the pages you've saved on your printer and mail them to the mailing address of the alternative media sources.
