How to Use Antiperspirants
- 1). Wash your underarms and dry them completely. This should be done right before bed. It may be easier to shower at night instead of just washing your underarms.
- 2). Remove the cap from the antiperspirant and wipe on your underarms. Move the stick, bottle or spray from top to bottom and back up to the top again. Your underarms will now be coated with the antiperspirant.
- 3). Go to sleep. While you sleep, the antiperspirant will block the sweat ducts. This is harder for your body to do during the day, when you are active.
- 4). Wash the antiperspirant off your armpits in the morning. If you don't want to jump in the shower, you can use some baby wipes to get your underarms clean.
- 5). Repeat for one week and then slow down to every other day. Eventually, you will only need to use the antiperspirant once a week.
