How to Add Folders to iPhone Mail
- 1). Open your web browser.
- 2). Go to your email service provider's main page. If you used GMail, for example, you would go to gmail.com. If you used Apple's Mobile Me, you would go to me.com.
- 3). Log into your email account using your account's user name and password.
- 4). Create a new folder using your email account page. For example, GMail calls folders "Labels." To create a new one, select "New Label" from the control column on the left side of your inbox. Give your new folder a title and select "OK."
- 5). Tap on the "Mail" application on your iPhone. This will automatically show your email account's inbox. Tap on the "Mailboxes" button to reveal all of the folders that are related to your email account, including the ones you have just created.
