How to Create Indoor Waterfall Art
- 1). After choosing your electric water pump, refer to your manufacturer's instructions to identify its flow rate.
- 2). Using your flow rate, work out the amount of water needed to keep your pump constantly flowing with water.
- 3). Now that you know exactly how much water is needed, choose or create a container (sky's the limit really) that is deeper than the water volume you need. Do bear in mind that it will need to hold your plastic sheeting.
- 4). Following your manufacturer's instructions place the electric pump at the base of your container. Do NOT plug in at this time.
- 5). Now install your plastic tubing.
- 6). Your plastic sheet can now be placed in the container. While some people place this vertically upright, others opt for a gentle angle. Either way, do adjust your plastic tubing to minimise its impact on your artwork's look.
- 7). Plug in your indoor waterfall and test pump. Adjust as necessary.
- 8). Unplug pump before proceeding any further.
- 9). Pebbles or large stones can now be placed at the bottom of your container. But you don't have to stop there - these can also be placed on the plastic sheeting.
- 10
Plug electric water pump in again and give a final test - making any necessary adjustments to get the effect you desire.
